Travertine Square Coffee Table

Amazing square coffee table made from travertine. Travertine is a form of limestone which can be found around miniral springs like hot springs. It has an amazing range of mixed colours from white to tan and cream color, even up to a rusty color. It is formed by a process of rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate, from stalactites, stalagmites, and other speleothems. Most of the travertine which is used for furniture comes from Italy.

This table has a thick and very heavy table top, which rests on four rectangular feet. Due to it's weight the table top rests loosely on it's feet which makes it slightly modular as you can change the position of the legs. It's in great condition as can be seen in the pictures.
