Spectrum DZ84 Wall Mirror by Benno Premsela

Wall mirror designed by Benno Premsela for 't Spectrum. This amazing mirror is made from a round beech plywood with a square mirror inside. The mirror can be slid into it's place by a slot at the top of the frame. The mirror was designed in 1956 and is still in production by Spectrum.

Benno Premsela was important in post-was modernism in the Netherlands. Besides architect he was also a designer and connector for the Dutch art scene. His work was an inspiration for designers like Aldo van den Nieuwelaar and artists like Ad Dekkers.

This mirror is in great condition and has been refinished.
