Pastoe BB02 Bookcase by Cees Braakman

Pastoe BB02 book case designed by Cees Braakman and produced in 1953s. This famous design is part of the Birch series by Cees Braakman. It's well known for it's loop legs that are made from bent plywood. The cabinet is made from Birch wood veneer. 

This piece was in a pretty rough shape when we got it and we have therefore done our best to revive it as much as possible to give it another life. Parts of the veneer have been reglued and it has also been refinished. Still you can see its age and the veneer has some grey areas that couldn't be removed anymore. It is still an amazing piece and when filled with books and other items it will still look amazing in your home.
