Houtwerk Hattem Pine Nightstand or Side Table by Ate van Apeldoorn

Nightstand or side table designed by Ate van Apeldoorn for Houtwerk Hattem. This cabinet is manufactured in the Netherlands in the 1960s. Ate van Apeldoorn founded Houtwerk van Hattem and is known for his simplistic furniture designs. He only used locally produced wood. Therefor his designs are made from Dutch pine trees. He wanted to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

This nightstand made with beautiful dovetail wood connection which has become Ate van Apeldoorns signature for most of his pieces. It has a drawer and it is in great condition as can be seen in the pictures.
